The contest is sponsored by the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) in conjunction with the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC). This is a national contest which encourages our youth to use the Internet safely and securely. Please forward this information to individuals in your school district that would be interested in this contest.
Educating our children about the rules of Internet safety will encourage them to make better decisions when posting pictures, videos and personal information online. Commonwealth of Virginia submittals must be received by January 7, 2015. Winners of the Virginia contest will be automatically submitted to the national contest.
The top three winning posters from Virginia for each grade group (K-5, 6-8 and 9-12) will be submitted to the national Multi-State Cyber Security Awareness poster contest.
